Welcome to The Meningitis Trust The Meningitis Trust is here to support everyone who has been touched by meningitis. We offer a unique range of free, professional services - a lifeline for people to help them rebuild their lives. The Trust also works to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of meningitis and associated septicaemia, to help reduce the toll of suffering. 2002-2012 It's hard to believe that 10 years has passed since the Meningitis Trust was founded. During the past decade, we have been proud to be Ireland's meningitis support organisation, providing advice and assistance to families affected by meningitis, distributing thousands of awareness-raising symptoms cards, and running education projects for communities throughout Ireland. We are grateful to those who have helped make this work possible - our wonderful volunteers who give their time and energy, our donors who contribute a regular or once-off gift or take part in challenge or running events, and of course, to  the many health and childcare professionals with whom we work on a daily basis in the fight against meningitis. We look forward to working with you all again this year. And, as it's our 10th birthday this year, watch this space for upcoming events!
